Ssekiboobo cup starts in high gear.
Musaale Naggojje found no trouble winning their opponents, Mutuba IX Goma 3:1 in the opener of Kyaggwe’s Ggombolola Cup 2024. The Ssekiboobo (Ssaza Chief), who witnessed the opener, thanked teams for the level of talent displayed and further requested all other Ggombololas to up preparations to ensure an entertaining competition from start to end.
Mr. Bbombokka Joseph, the chairperson of the youth arm in Kyaggwe rallied Ggombolola leaders to fulfill all requirements or participation, which will make the competition smooth. He further rallied all youths to mobilise massively and receive the minister of Youth, Sports and the Art who is scheduled to visit Kyaggwe on 11th February 2024.
Musaale Nagojje’s goals were scored by Musoke Asuman(1) and Mubiru Umar (2) while Mutuba IX Goma’s lone goal came from Kibirige Richard. Mubiru Umar of Nagojje was declared player of the match.
Kyaggwe’s next fixtures will be played on 10th February 2024 with for games in groups A, B and C.
